John Laugle tells the History of Batesville Products

History of Batesville Products Part 1 of 4

In celebration of Batesville Products’ 75th anniversary, John Laugle shares how his father, Millard Laugle Sr., started Batesville Ornamental Works.

Batesville Products started as a small casting company named Batesville Ornamental Works, located in Batesville, IN in the 1940’s. In the beginning, Batesville Ornamental Works did mostly decorative zinc castings for local applications.

John has been involved in the business since day one, serving as Vice President and Chief Engineer. John now enjoys retirement in Virginia, spending time with his wife of 60 years and being near family.
